Dana Stibolt

Dana Stibolt totally talked me off the ledge, saved my data, got me all calmed down, and totally took care of everything!

Flashback to 2014. I had forgotten about this story!

So, this customer (a guy from Baltimore) who has been coming to see me for a few years came in on Wednesday for some iMac service. This same customer wrote a letter (on his own) to Apple telling them how much he has struggled with other Apple Service Providers (his opinion) and how awesome me (by name) and MacMedics are. We get to talking about stuff while I am checking him in for service, and he starts in again about how cool MacMedics is (embarrassing). He then said he had a story for me that happened before the first time he came to visit me.

He’s out on a date with a woman (she’s a graphic designer), and they are having a nice dinner, and they get to talking about Apple and how they both have Macs. He’s thinking, great, another thing they have in common, and they both love Apple. There’s a pause in the conversation, and he looks up from his dinner and sees the woman getting misty-eyed. He says, “What’s wrong?” The woman says, “Well, I was just thinking about this guy I know from a long time ago, who’s just the greatest.” “My Mac crashed, and this awesome Apple guy, Dana Stibolt, who owns MacMedics, totally talked me off the ledge, saved my data, got me all calmed down, and totally took care of everything!”
