Don’t get fooled when buying a refurbished or used Mac from eBay, Amazon, or Walmart. Sellers often obscure the model number or the release year in the posting. I have also seen sellers use the current macOS wallpaper on the older Mac to make it look “current.”The Apple design and finish are so modern that an older Mac can look very similar to a brand-new one. Most of all, don’t overspend on a used laptop like the MacMedics customer in this video did! He ended up with a 2017 13” MacBook Pro with a battery at 88% for almost $500!
