I’m Dana Stibolt, a lifelong entrepreneur, and I own and operate a successful computer consulting and service business (www.macmedics.com) that I founded in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1989 (That’s Pre-internet and way before the Apple Store opened). I’ve always enjoyed helping others solve their problems, computer or otherwise.
My challenges in life have battle-hardened me to take on big goals and achieve great results. I’m visually impaired (legally blind) and have had a kidney transplant, so I’ve learned unique ways to care for myself (like switching to a Vegan diet in 2005). I am a daily bike commuter (no spandex), and I ride rain or shine!

I’ve learned much about business and developed my own organic methods to obtain and grow customers into lifetime clients. Through my computer business, I’ve helped thousands of clients successfully navigate technology via the Apple platform. I was Tom Clancy’s personal tech “wizard” (his words) since 1998, and I served as a tech consultant for Clancy’s book Red Rabbit in 2001. I’ve worked with the White House on multiple occasions (For several different administrations, and in one instance, my visit was worthy of its own Tom Clancy story.) and have hundreds of large customers, including many from the Fortune 500, Federal, State, and Local government, and the Baltimore Ravens.
