I follow the All the Hacks podcast hosted by Chris Hutchins. I recently listened to his podcast about insurance. Shopping for my homeowner’s policy is something that’s been on my list for like a year. I got a referral from a friend to a broker whom I have not used before and was able to obtain much higher-grade insurance for my home for less than half of what I’ve been paying to a mainstream national insurance company. I highly recommend you shop for your insurance to find out if you can save as I did. I ended up saving over $2000 per year. That’s amazing for literally five minutes of work. Plus, not only did they mirror my current policy I upped some of the Insurance coverage substantially.
