I fixed an AirPod Pro for $8.

“I took my AirPod Pros to the Apple Store, where they told me they weren’t repairable and I had to buy a new one, and that I had to wait until an appointment three hours later that day to be helped. I walked into MacMedics with no appointment; they repaired my existing AirPod Pros for $8. I’ve had several things (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) repaired at MacMedics, and every time it’s so much easier than dealing with the Apple Stores in the mall. I would recommend MacMedics 10/10”.

I helped this MacMedics customer as I had helped him several times before. He showed me his AirPod that Apple had looked at and told him he would need a new Right AirPod Pro. Even though I do not see very well, I carefully examined his AirPod that had been broken at the gym. All it was that the rubber “ear tip” had been ripped off the plastic clip that held it onto the AirPod. I was able to pop off the broken clip, which allowed me access to install a new Ear Tip for $8. The customer has come to see me to replace the broken AirPod since he had been told it was “unrepairable.” It just takes a second to stop, listen, and look at a problem. Even though I am legally blind, I used my Apple repair knowledge to listen to what happened, and since I’d seen this before, I knew what to do. Even on the fly, at the front counter, in about 3-4 minutes, I was able to help another customer that believed that he needed to buy new rather than repair.

This was a simple solution, but I’ve done this with computers too. A customer is told one thing, usually that it’s dead and they need a new computer. I won’t accept what others say until I can prove it myself. So, come see my team and me at MacMedics for an honest, accurate assessment of your issue. We’d love to help you!
