I’ve helped the same customer with this MacBook Air M1 with a broken LCD screen three times. Thankfully, this customer had AppleCare+ $99 coverage each time, but the screen was broken to the point where it was black (all three times), so you could not see their data. Each time I assisted them, I had to hook their MacBook Air to an external monitor in order to copy their data to a flash drive.
